Table SettingI decorated a table to celebrate Mother's Day using fresh cut knockout roses from outside and baby's breath I found at the store! I wanted to do a fun, pretty, and elegant table…I used green fabric as the tablecloth for a pop of bright color, and light pink fabric squares on top to soften it. Then I stacked these cute white beaded cake plates, with the white ceramic pineapple from my April Favorites on top…to make a simple and sophisticated centerpiece! I used silver chargers with a white napkin and white saucer and teacup at each place setting. Underneath each napkin, I placed a strip of wired light pink ribbon, curling it around the edges of the charger for another pop of color. I placed a few roses in each of the teacups, with a strand of pearls coming out of the teacup as well. On either side of the cake plates, I placed mercury glass candle holders and mini lanterns left from our wedding decor and filled them with the flowers. I also added fancy iced beverage glasses to add a little sparkle to the table. This was a really fun little table setting and could easily be used for lots of other occasions besides Mother's Day too! This is just an example that you can just use things around the house (and flowers growing outside!) to create a fun and fancy table to brighten up a special occasion!
