Create new chairs from old ones!Last week I decided to do a fun and easy summer project…my mom wanted to redo the two swivel chairs from her old patio dining set to put by the pool! This was a pretty simple project and it turned out great! I took the grayish-green colored chairs on the left and used Rust-oleum brand in Satin finish in "Espresso" color to spray paint the chairs. It took about 3 cans of the spray paint to really cover the chairs well. I sprayed as much as I could reach the first time, let them dry for about an hour, then came back and turned the chairs over to spray the bottoms. I let them dry for a while again, then gave another small coat over the front again. The dark brown color really updated the chairs to match the rest of their outdoor furniture. We found these patterned chair cushions at Lowe's for a bright, pretty pop of color! You can do this with any color spray paint to update something or to match the rest of your furniture, and pick out any fun chair cushion…it's a great way to use the chair you already have to make something fresh, new, and fun!
